Pre - Piloting  Programme ®

Module  description

Crew Resource Management

CRM is a training program aimed at enhancing communication, teamwork, decision-making, and situational awareness among flight crews. It emphasizes the importance of effective coordination and collaboration within the cockpit environment to mitigate human errors, prevent accidents, and ensure flight safety. CRM training equips pilots and crew members with the skills and mindset necessary to manage challenging situations, handle emergencies, and optimize crew performance, thereby fostering a culture of safety and professionalism within the aviation industry.

 Human factors

Human factors refer to the scientific study of how humans interact with machines, systems, and environments and how this affects their performance. This module provides a comprehensive understanding of the intricate relationship between human factors and organisational dynamics within the aviation industry. Human Factors delve into the psychological, physiological, socialand managerial aspects that shape human behaviour within aviation organisations, ultimately impacting safety, efficiency, and overall performance.

Concept of Flight Safety & SMS

Aviation Safety and Safety Management System involve a wide-ranging framework of policies, procedures, and practices designed to ensure the safety and security of passengers, crew, aircraft, and ground facilities within the aviation industry. This multi-faceted discipline involves the identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential risks and threats, as well as the implementation of measures to prevent accidents, incidents, and security breaches. This requires proactive risk management, a positive safety culture, regulatory compliance, ongoing training, and effective emergency response planning to ensure consistent safety and security of the aviation industry.

Aviation Medicine & Medical Fitness

Medical, physical and mental fitness of pilots are essential for aviation safety, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and to meet long hours flying demands as well as to ensure the safety of everyone on board the aircraft along with those on the ground. Besides, a good fitness is mandatory for pilots to respond appropriately to unprecedented flightemergency situations, such as cabin pressure loss,by making critical decisions promptly under pressure.Aviation regulatory authorities worldwidemandate medical examinations for pilots to assess their health and fitness to ensure they meet the required standards for safe flight operations.

Cockpit Environment and Simulation

The Cockpit Environment is the operational center of an aircraft where pilots and crew members control and monitor flight operations. It comprises various instruments, controls, displays, and communication systems designed to facilitate flight management and navigation. Cockpit Simulation involves the use of advanced simulators to replicate real-world flight scenarios and training exercises in a controlled environment. It allows pilots to practice procedures, refine their skills, and familiarize themselves with aircraft systems, enhancing safety and proficiency in flight operations.
