As more and more airports are capacity constrained, this Microclass provides participants with the know-how of the efficient use of the airports’ resources during day of operation activities. Due to the growth of air traffic some airports are experiencing a discrepancy between available airport capacity and demand. This involves the allocation of constrained or limited airport capacity to airlines and other aircraft operators to ensure a viable airport and air transport operation whilst maximizing efficient use of airport infrastructure. Therefore, we will help you learn how to allocate and coordinate airport slots by applying Worldwide Slot Guidelines, the accepted global standard for the policies, principles, and procedures of airport slot management. And, learn how to apply the standard communication procedures between airlines and slot coordinators.
This Microclass will allow participants to learn the techniques for both estimating and understanding markets and travel patterns; in order to identify new route opportunities and to create airline business cases for new or improved routes.
Aviation Management Graduates | Pilots | Aeronautical Engineers | General Management Graduates | Junior Aviation Managers | Non-Aero Personnel with 2 Years of Experience in Aviation Industry
