Gavin Eccles is the Head of Executive Education and a C-level coach at Aviationia. Having nearly 30 years of experience in aviation across academia, industry and government entities with a focus on managing commercial links between airlines, airports and tourism boards, Gavin has been holding leadership positions and delivering tailored consultancy across the globe. His portfolio includes Emirates, British Airways, American Airlines, United Airlines, Qantas, easyJet, Jet2, Eurowings amongst others, and he served as CCO for SATA Group where he had brought new thinking to two airlines and managed their networks, ancillary revenue, sales, marketing & brand/strategy development. He is a Senior Advisor to the Government of Portugal and was instrumental in bringing over 200 new routes through four airports. Being a Professor of Aviation and Tourism Management, Gavin is dedicated to continuously imparting practical solutions through his acadustry®-based mentorship, with specialisation in commercials.
